|Please note that this Gathering is in Canada. If you are coming from outside Canada, the critical thing to have with you is an UP-TO-DATE PASSPORT from your country. You also need to check what visa arrangements your country has with Canada. Please check this soon as you may have to organize visas.
Once you have organized your travel plans and know your arrival and departure dates and times (be your travel by air, road or rail), please send you details to Ronnie who is coordinating arrivals and departures.
Closest airports to Niagara Falls are Buffalo (NY), Hamilton (ONT) and Toronto (ONT). Hamilton is smaller and will not have as many connections. but it and Buffalo are easier to travel through as they are smaller. And of course there are customs issues from Buffalo to Canada . For any Canadians it might be simpler to do everything through Canada (i.e. Hamilton or Toronto).

What can I bring into Canada
You need to remember that if you are arriving at Buffalo Airport or driving from within the U.S., you will need to pass through Customs at the border. There are restrictions about what goods can be taken into Canada and on return what goods can be taken into the US.
There is some information below about this. But please make sure that you check carefully and do not expect that you can bring food, plates and related products over the border in either direction.
What is prohibited to bring across the border (Entering Canada and entering USA):
Canadian law requires that you declare all food, plants and animals and related products that you are bringing into Canada. If you do not declare your products, the CBSA could confiscate them and you could face monetary penalties, and/or prosecution. General guidelines on what food, plants, animals and related products that you can or cannot bring into Canada can be found the Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s Web site.
